Fairfax County's Board of Supervisors has approved a fee increase for most applications submitted to Land Development Services and the Department of Planning and Development, effective July 1, 2026.
These adjustments reflect the impact of inflation, rising personnel costs, and the overall increase in the cost of providing county services. The new fee structure will apply exclusively to applications filed on or after the July 1 implementation date; applications submitted before this date will be subject to the previous fee schedule.
