U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced yesterday the arrest of several criminal illegal aliens convicted of serious offenses, including enticement of a minor for indecent purposes, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and armed robbery, during Police Week.

Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis highlighted these arrests, stating, “Yesterday, the men and women of ICE arrested multiple criminal aliens convicted of enticing children for indecent purposes, assault and battery, and armed robbery.” Bis added that ICE officers consistently put their lives on the line to apprehend dangerous criminals.

Among those arrested were Roberto Valdes-Catalan from Cuba, convicted for felony enticement of a minor in Tennessee and domestic violence in Texas. Jorge Luis Fuentes, also from Cuba, was arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in Massachusetts. Other arrests included Carvette Anthony Gentles from Jamaica for assault in New York, Carlos Jared Gonzalez-Trejo from Mexico for armed robbery in Arizona, and Juan Gonzales-Cruz from Mexico for intoxication assault of a peace officer in Texas.
