Governor Jim Pillen has ordered all U.S. and Nebraska flags to be flown at half-staff on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. This directive encourages Nebraskans to honor those who died while serving in the country's armed forces.

The Governor also urged citizens to join in a moment of prayer at 11 a.m. and to participate in the National Moment of Remembrance by observing a minute of silence at 3:00 p.m. on Memorial Day.
