Dartmouth College's Arts and Sciences faculty recently saw 28 members receive promotions, with 14 achieving full professorship and another 14 being promoted to associate professor and granted tenure.
These advancements recognize the significant academic contributions and scholarly achievements of the faculty within various departments across the Arts and Sciences division.
In other news, Carlene Kucharczyk, an administrative assistant in the Department of English and Creative Writing, has been honored with the Vermont Book Award for poetry. Her debut collection, Strange Hymn, earned her the prestigious recognition. Kucharczyk is noted as a West Woodstock poet.
