LINCOLN, NE – Governor Jim Pillen recently unveiled a homemade quilt and a life-sized reproduction of the Declaration of Independence, which will be displayed in the State Capitol through July. The exhibition marks America's upcoming 250th anniversary.
Flanked by members of the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution, Governor Pillen presented the items for public viewing in the reception area of his office. This initiative aims to commemorate a significant milestone in American history.
Additionally, more than a dozen Quilts of Valor are also on display in the Legislative Chamber, further enhancing the patriotic tribute within the Capitol building.
