Alaska Airlines Adds First-Ever Athens Service, Expands Paris Flights from SEA

Alaska Airlines will launch new international services from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) in May 2027, introducing the region's first-ever direct flight to Athens, Greece, and expanding options to Paris.

This expansion marks Alaska's continued growth, adding to five long-haul international services introduced in the past two years and bringing SEA's total international nonstop destinations to 66.

Port of Seattle Commission President Ryan Calkins welcomed the development, saying, "SEA welcomes Alaska's continued global expansion to two iconic European destinations, with the region's first-ever service to Athens, one of our largest unserved European markets, as well as additional options to Paris." He added that the new routes offer passengers more opportunities to connect with the world, whether for relaxing on a Greek island or museum-hopping in Paris.
