Coach Tom Osborne Nominated as First Living Member of Nebraska Hall of Fame

Governor Jim Pillen announced the unanimous nomination of Tom Osborne, former football coach, congressman, and youth advocate, to the Nebraska Hall of Fame. This historic decision makes Osborne the first living individual to be inducted into the prestigious state institution.

Commission members voted unanimously in favor of Osborne's inclusion. His bust will join those of 27 other distinguished Nebraskans displayed within the State Capitol in Lincoln, NE, recognizing his significant contributions to the state.
