Alante Omar Allen, 33, of Huntington, was sentenced today to three months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for distributing fentanyl.

Allen, also known as “Suey,” admitted to selling approximately 20.5 grams of fentanyl to a confidential informant for $1,300 on August 31, 2022. The transaction, which Allen had arranged beforehand, took place at a business on U.S. Route 60 in Huntington.

United States Attorney Moore Capito announced the sentencing and commended the investigative work of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office. United States District Judge Robert C. Chambers imposed the sentence, with Assistant United States Attorney Joseph F. Adams prosecuting the case.
