Sierra Club Foundation is reporting it is seeking vehicle donations to support its environmental initiatives. It said the donations help fund efforts to protect public lands and wild places, advocate for clean air and water, and promote healthy communities. The organization partners with CARS, which provides free vehicle pickup from any location. Donors can complete an online form or call to arrange the donation. Sierra Club Foundation said CARS accepts most vehicles, including cars, trucks, trailers, boats, heavy equipment and farm machinery, regardless of whether they are running. Donors receive a thank-you letter and necessary documents for a tax-deductible gift. Sierra Club supporter Vince Ciancallo shared a positive experience donating a 2007 Jayco pop-up trailer, noting it was a way to support the organization's work in preserving the natural world.
