Radio New Zealand is reporting that a group of health workers in New Zealand have signed an open letter to Members of Parliament asking them to waive private healthcare during their time in office. RNZ said the health workers, including specialists, GPs, nurses and paramedics, believe politicians should not be allowed to "insulate" themselves from the consequences of decisions they make about the public health system.
