The U.S. Census Bureau has announced updates to its online product calendar, a call for participants for a data.census.gov usability study, and upcoming releases for the American Community Survey Planning Databases.
The Bureau's online calendar provides anticipated release dates for its regular statistical products and is regularly updated. Separately, the Center for Enterprise Dissemination Services and Consumer Innovation is seeking data users for a usability testing study to understand how individuals interact with data.census.gov. Participants should have experience using or analyzing data from statistical sites.
The 2025 and 2026 Planning Database (PDB) vintages are scheduled for concurrent release in late summer, specifically August 4. These updates will include the most recent American Community Survey 5-year estimates and updated Low Response Scores for census tracts and block groups. The Response Outreach Area Mapper (ROAM) will also be updated with the latest 2026 PDB data.
