Four Men Indicted on Federal Firearms Charges in Southern Georgia

Four men have been indicted by a federal Grand Jury in the Southern District of Georgia on charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

U.S. Attorney Margaret E. “Meg” Heap announced the indictments, naming Averelle Baker, 27, of Savannah; Miguel Antonio Davis, 32, of Augusta; Jameze D. Moore, 34, of Savannah; and Timetrius Neal, 28, of Thomson, Georgia. Each faces a charge of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

The cases were investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the FBI, and local law enforcement agencies. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Makeia R. Jonese, Matthew Breedon, and Henry W. Syms Jr. are prosecuting these cases. Criminal indictments contain only charges, and defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
