A Church Rock woman, Tiffany Jim, has been federally charged with assaulting her dating partner, Jane Doe, an incident that resulted in Doe's hospitalization.
Jim, 37, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, faces charges of assault resulting in serious bodily injury and assault of a dating partner resulting in substantial bodily injury. The alleged assault took place on September 10, 2025.
The charges were announced by First Assistant U.S. Attorney Ryan Ellison and Justin A. Garris, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI's Albuquerque Field Office. The case was investigated by the FBI's Gallup Resident Agency, supported by the Navajo Nation Police Department and Navajo Department of Criminal Investigations.
Jim remains on conditions of release, with her trial date yet to be scheduled. If convicted, she faces a potential sentence of up to 15 years in prison. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
