The BBC is reporting that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is due to meet with top U.S. army officials in Kyiv on Thursday to discuss the war with Russia. According to the BBC, the visit comes amid media reports that the U.S. and Russia have privately drawn up proposals on how to end the war, including major concessions from Ukraine. One Ukrainian official told CBS, the BBC's U.S. media partner, that the focus would be on the military situation on the ground, in addition to plans for a possible ceasefire.
The BBC also reports that Google is testing its secret weapon in the AI race at a California lab. Google’s ultra-private CEO Sundar Pichai is showing economics editor Faisal Islam around Googleplex, its California headquarters. He is most excited about a laboratory hidden away at the back of the campus behind some trees. This is where the invention that Google believes is its secret weapon is being developed. Known as a Tensor Processing Unit, it will one day power every AI query that goes through Google, says Mr Pichai.
