Senior Firefighter Carlos E. Ramirez Jr., 28, of Advanced Fire and Rescue Services, died on February 15, 2026, after the fire apparatus he was driving rolled over while providing fire and life safety services at a vehicle raceway in Santa Clarita, California.
Ramirez, a part-time paid firefighter with two years of service, sustained traumatic injuries in the incident. Despite on-scene treatment efforts, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
