The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently deported several criminal illegal aliens, including individuals convicted of serious offenses such as murder, sexual assault, kidnapping, and robbery. This action is part of ongoing efforts to enhance public safety.
A DHS Spokesperson said, "Every day, ICE is deporting criminal illegal aliens who never should have been in our country in the first place." The spokesperson added, "Just last week, ICE deported murderers, sexual assailants, kidnappers, and robbers. It’s common sense: when you deport criminals, our country becomes safer."
Among those deported were Chong Fay Liang from Laos, convicted of second-degree murder and robbery, and Jose Alfredo Guzman from Mexico, whose criminal history includes sexual battery and multiple DUI convictions. David Ciero from Cuba was deported for aggravated robbery and assault, while Linh Khac Sam from Vietnam faced convictions for kidnapping and cocaine possession. Jorge Isaac Aguilar Garcia from Colombia was also deported.
The DHS Spokesperson noted that 80% of Americans support these efforts to deport criminal illegal aliens from communities.
