U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently apprehended several individuals across the country who were convicted of severe crimes, including child sexual assault, attempted murder, and fentanyl distribution. These arrests targeted "criminal illegal aliens" involved in offenses such as indecent assault on a child, possession of child pornography, and drug possession with intent to distribute.
Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said, "Reckless open border policies have allowed dangerous criminal illegal aliens into our country to harm innocent Americans." She added that ICE officers are "the best of the best, putting their lives on the line to arrest the worst of the worst."
Among those arrested were Roberto Flores-Ascencion from Mexico, convicted for attempted child rape in Delaware County, Pennsylvania; Juan Carlos Gonzalez-Parral from Mexico, for child pornography in Fresno, California; and Maxi Peralta-Torres from the Dominican Republic, for attempted murder in Philadelphia. Luis Jose Ramirez-Encarnacion from the Dominican Republic was arrested for fentanyl distribution in Salem, Massachusetts, and Jack Maicolls Moreno-Mape from Colombia for burglary in Santa Ana, California.
