Fairfax County Police have arrested an Alexandria man in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred last Saturday in Hybla Valley.
Jihad Oliver-White, 24, was taken into custody on August 23, following an investigation into the August 22 incident on the 7900 block of Fordson Road. Officers found a man with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to his lower body, who was then transported to a local hospital.
Detectives determined a verbal argument among a group led to the shooting. Oliver-White faces charges of Malicious Wounding, Shooting at an Occupied Dwelling, and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, and is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
