Daycare Teacher Charged with Assaulting Two Children in McLean

Fairfax County Police have arrested a 61-year-old woman, Wafa Abdelhafiz Abdalla of Alexandria, on charges of assaulting two children at a McLean daycare facility. The incident occurred on August 27 at Faz Creative Education Learning Center, located at 1776 Old Meadow Road.

Detectives from the Child Abuse Squad determined that Abdalla, employed as a teacher, allegedly pushed a 2-year-old boy to the floor and struck another 2-year-old boy in the head with an open hand. She faces two counts of misdemeanor Assault and Battery and was released on a summons.
