Fresh & Ready Foods LLC has issued a recall for a limited number of its Sprig & Sprout Spicy Breakfast Burrito and Fresh and Ready Spicy Breakfast Burrito due to undeclared soy and the presence of sausage in products labeled vegetarian. Consumers with soy allergies face a risk of serious allergic reactions, and those who do not consume meat should avoid these items.
The recalled burritos were produced at the Charlotte, North Carolina facility between July 9 and July 12, 2026, and carry a "Fresh Thru" date of July 20, 2026. These products were distributed to grab and go markets and vending machines across Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
The recall is specific to these items and production dates from the Charlotte facility, with no other products or facilities affected. Fortunately, no illnesses or allergic reactions related to this recall have been reported to date.
