A magnitude 5.2 earthquake occurred in the Fox Islands, part of Alaska's Aleutian Islands, on September 3, 2026, at 13:03:19 Universal Time (UTC). The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported the shallow tremor at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The earthquake's epicenter was situated 100.9 kilometers (62.5 miles) south-southwest of Nikolski, Alaska. It was also located 1552.5 kilometers (962.5 miles) southwest of Anchorage, Alaska, and 1604.4 kilometers (994.7 miles) south-southeast of Anadyr, Russia.
