The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has announced it is returning over $672,000 to consumers who were victims of deceptive marketing by Trend Deploy. This action follows an investigation into the practices of Trend Deploy's operator, Frank Romero.
The FTC is mailing 9,419 checks to affected consumers as part of this restitution effort. These payments aim to compensate individuals for the harm caused by the misleading marketing tactics.
Recipients of these checks are urged to cash them promptly. The checks clearly indicate a 90-day window for cashing, after which they may expire.
