CFTC Joins Gemini in Motion for Relief from Judgment

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today it has joined Gemini Trust Company LLC in a motion for relief from judgment in the case of CFTC v. Gemini Trust Company LLC. This action was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

The original lawsuit was initiated in June 2022. The parties previously entered into a consent order in January 2025. The current motion seeks relief from that judgment.
