Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has announced a series of appointments to various state boards, commissions, and county quorum courts across Arkansas. These appointments fill existing vacancies, replace outgoing members, and establish new positions, impacting several key sectors within the state.
The appointments include new members for the Arkansas Educational Television Commission, the Arkansas Minority Health Commission, and the Arkansas Rural Medical Practice Student Loan and Scholarship Board. Additionally, individuals were named to the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy and the Board of Visitors for both the School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts and the University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College.
Further appointments were made to the Governor’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, the State Board of Optometry, and the Tax Appeals Commission. Governor Sanders also filled Justice of the Peace positions in Chicot, Greene, Lonoke, Pulaski, Saline, and Searcy County Quorum Courts, ensuring continued local governance.
