The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) today released its Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) performance evaluations for 23 national banks and federal savings associations, covering the period of August 1 through August 31, 2026.

These evaluations assess an institution's effectiveness in meeting the credit needs of its entire community, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, while maintaining safe and sound operations. Institutions receive ratings of outstanding, satisfactory, needs to improve, or substantial noncompliance.

Of the 23 institutions evaluated, seven received "Outstanding" ratings, including United National Bank (Cairo, GA), The First National Bank of Litchfield (Litchfield, IL), Golden Belt Bank, FSA (Hays, KS), Macatawa Bank, National Association (Holland, MI), The First National Bank of Fairfax (Fairfax, MN), VeraBank, National Association (Henderson, TX), and Morgan Stanley Bank, N.A. (Salt Lake City, UT). The majority of institutions received a "Satisfactory" rating, with no institutions receiving "Needs to Improve" or "Substantial Noncompliance" ratings in this release.

The OCC provides public access to all CRA evaluations issued since April 1996 on its website, along with a schedule of upcoming examinations.
