The 2019–20 season was the 116th season in the history of Real Madrid Club de Fútbol and their 89th consecutive season in the top flight of Spanish football. Real Madrid participated in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, the Supercopa de España and the UEFA Champions League. The season covered the period from 1 July 2019 to 8 August 2020.

Real Madrid began their 2019–20 campaign with a 3–1 away victory over Celta Vigo. Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos and Lucas Vázquez all scored, while Luka Modrić was sent off.
