The District of Columbia Government announced the upcoming DC Unity Soccer Cup 2026, scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026. This event aims to unite DC government offices, community partners, and residents through soccer, celebrating the District’s diversity, fostering connections, and promoting community inclusion.
The tournament will take place from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 401 Oklahoma Ave NE, Washington, DC. It features a 7v7 format, comprising six field players and one goalkeeper, with teams allowed up to 15 players. Participants must be 18 years or older.
The competition structure includes a round-robin group stage, followed by a knockout round to determine the champions. Tournament jerseys will be provided to all players. The event encourages both participation on the field and attendance in the stands to support the community initiative.
