The Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) has released its 2025 Annual Report, revealing a notable 10.9% decrease in the overall crime rate for 2025, marking the first decline since 2018. The comprehensive report details the department's accomplishments across key initiatives including Crime Prevention and Control, Community Engagement, Transportation Safety, and Employee Wellness and Development.

According to the report, Group A Offenses, which represent the overall crime rate, saw a significant reduction. While crimes against persons marginally increased by 0.5% due to intimidation offenses, crimes against property, the most frequently reported type, declined by 14.9%. Crimes against society offenses slightly rose by 1.7%, primarily driven by drug equipment violations. Additionally, Group B Adult Arrests increased by 20.3% compared to 2024.
