The National Fire Academy has immediate vacancies for four resident courses in November and December 2026, it announced on October 1, 2026.
The courses are Analytical Tools for Decision Making (R0387), running 11/8-11/13/2026; Fire Inspection Principles 2: Inspection of Structures and Systems (R0391), running 11/8-11/13/2026; Commercial Fire Sprinkler System Plans Review (R0263), running 11/9-11/13/2026; and Fire Investigation: Case Preparation and Testimony (R0790), running 12/14-12/18/2026.
All training takes place at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, MD.
Applicants should use the electronic application form on the NETC Online Admissions application website and obtain electronic approval from the head of their sponsoring organization. The academy said applicants should not plan to participate in a course until the Admissions office has notified them in writing.
