Granicus is promoting its integrated digital communication and engagement solution, saying it helps governments of all levels and sizes connect with residents, build trust and make better decisions.

The company said the platform is designed to amplify and digitize common communication tasks, leading to more positive experiences between government agencies and the people they serve. It offers multi-channel messaging across social media, text and email, along with opt-in subscriptions that residents can customize.

According to Granicus, the solution allows agencies to facilitate two-way conversations, gather insights and prioritize communications with data-driven results. Real-time reporting and analytics are included to help officials understand what information, services and projects resonate with residents.

"The dramatic increase we've seen in the engagement rate for our account means that more people are learning about their right to access this important environmental information," said Sarah Swenson, of the Stakeholder Engagement Branch at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Carrie Gray, Child Care Development Fund Operations Manager at Indiana FSSA, said the platform helps the agency target the right audiences. "We're getting the right data set up at the right times and understanding which audience to hit and win," Gray said. "With the help of Granicus, we've had a good line of communication. We can get things set up on the fly."

Sabrina Martin, Community Engagement Coordinator for the City of Baytown, Texas, said the approach meets residents where they are. "We were actually meeting people where they are," Martin said. "That's been a big part for our community — they're seeing that we are being transparent... and that we're responding in a timely manner that's helpful for them."

Matthew Kaiser, Communications and Marketing Director for Fairfax, Virginia, said the platform helps connect neighborhoods. "I think the platform really facilitates the connection of neighborhoods, even in a smaller city," Kaiser said. "Digitally, it's useful to have a good way to provide a timeline of information and connect residents around topics."

Granicus said its products include Communications (govDelivery) and Sentiment & Feedback (EngagementHQ), and it invites agencies to book a demo.
