Governor Kay Ivey of Alabama announced Thursday the execution timeframe for Jeffery Lee, scheduled to begin at 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, and conclude by Friday, September 18, 2026.
The execution will be carried out by lethal injection. The Governor's office said that a letter to Alabama Department of Corrections Commissioner Greg Lovelace and the Supreme Court's order were attached to the announcement.
