The Public Theater's acclaimed Mobile Unit will bring Shakespeare's "As You Like It" to the Cathedral of St. John the Divine on Sunday, June 7, at 6:30 pm. This outdoor romantic comedy requires no tickets or reservations, with attendees simply marking their interest online for performance reminders.
Other significant events include an Eid ul-Adha celebration on Haven Plaza on Thursday, June 4, at 12:00 pm, organized by CUIMC's Islamic Cultural & SWANA Employee Resource Groups. Also on June 4, a documentary, "The Story of C++: The World’s Most Consequential Programming Language," featuring Columbia Professor Bjarne Stroustrup, will premiere.
The weekend features a "Cerebral Palsy Community Day" on Saturday, June 6, at 11:00 am, offering resources, health screenings, and adaptive sports. Later that day, Lenfest Teens will screen the animated film "Isle of Dogs" at 2:00 pm. A webinar on mental health interventions, "Bridging Evidence and Implementation," cohosted by Columbia Global Centers and Columbia World Projects, is scheduled for Monday, June 8, at 11:00 am.
