The U.S. Census Bureau today announced the release of new data products from its Business Trends and Outlook Survey (BTOS), offering timely insights into current business conditions and future economic projections.
The BTOS collects continuous, bi-weekly data on key economic measures such as revenues, employees, hours, and inventories. This data is representative of all employer businesses across the U.S. economy, excluding farms, and complements information from other economic surveys.
By providing detailed geographic and subsector information, the BTOS is designed to capture the impact of significant events like natural disasters and economic crises, aiding in the monitoring of recovery efforts.
