The Hindu is reporting that Iran has stated there will be no direct talks with the United States during its delegation’s visit to Islamabad. Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said on X that Pakistani officials would convey messages between the two countries. Baqaei thanked Pakistan for its mediation efforts to end the "American-imposed war of aggression." The White House had previously indicated that U.S. envoys would meet with Iranian representatives.
