The Nicholson Project and Hamiltonian Artists are hosting an "I'll meet you there" reception and artist talk this weekend at the Heurich House Museum, celebrating the final launch of a video truck featuring A.J. McClenon's artwork.
The event will showcase A.J. McClenon's video, "Vega Travel Run Five Hundred and Ninety Eight to Three Hundred and Fifty Six," with the artist discussing her work alongside Xena Ni. Ni's interactive installation, "these dreams belong to you and me," is also currently on view at the museum, and light refreshments will be provided.
Separately, the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (CAH) reminds artists and organizations about the Public Art Building Communities (PABC) grant program, which supports new permanent or temporary public art. The application deadline for Fiscal Year 2027 funding, covering October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027, is Monday, July 27, 2026, at 5 PM ET.
