Eight Columbia faculty members were elected to the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, including Keren Bergman and George Chauncey. Additionally, Michael Kaplan, Ingrid Laubrock, and John Miller received 2026 Guggenheim Fellowships for independent projects. The National Academy of Sciences welcomed Simon Brendle, Andrew Gelman, and Hashim M. Al-Hashimi, while J.
