U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently announced the arrest of several criminal illegal aliens convicted of serious offenses including murder, assault, and drug trafficking.
The agency highlighted that nearly 70% of its arrests involve illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the United States. Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said, “Just yesterday, ICE arrested murderers, violent assailants, drug traffickers, and other criminal illegal aliens from American communities.”
Bis added that “Thanks to reckless open border policies, too many Americans have been harmed by criminal illegal aliens.” She affirmed that under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, their mission to protect innocent Americans from these individuals will continue.
Recent arrests include Jesus Urquilla-Guevara from El Salvador, convicted for murder in Upper Marlboro, Maryland; Sallieu Mansaray from Sierra Leone, convicted for assault in Staten Island, New York; and Mor Lo from Senegal, convicted for assault, heroin distribution, and unlawful firearm possession. Jose Luis Arroyo-Garcia from Mexico was arrested for four counts of drug trafficking in Franklin County, Ohio, and Luis Reyes-Portillo from Guatemala for dealing cocaine in Franklin, Indiana.
