The expanded recall, announced on July 31, 2026, now includes all units of Eridanous Shortbread Cookies with Chocolate Truffle Coating & Apricot Filling (UPC 4056489125839) and Eridanous Shortbread Cookies with Apricot Filling and Cocoa Topping with Coconut Sprinkles (UPC 4056489125846) that feature foreign language packaging. These products were distributed without required English ingredient lists, nutrition facts panels, or allergen declarations.
These cookies were sold in Lidl US stores across Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia between July 15 and July 28, 2026. Consumers with allergies to the listed ingredients are advised that consuming these products could lead to severe or life-threatening allergic reactions. No illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall to date.
