The National Fire Academy will offer a two-day, off-campus Wildland-Urban Interface Risk Assessment & Mitigation course in Provo, Utah, on May 13-14, 2027.

The F2292 course provides 16 instructional hours of science-based fire engineering research, guidance and practical approaches for fire service personnel and related stakeholders operating in WUI areas, the academy said.

"We are excited to share this opportunity to deliver a course designed specifically for the fire service and its partners," the academy said.

The academy added that it would welcome working with organizations to offer the training in their states.
