Dartmouth College has risen in several higher education rankings, the college has announced.
The news comes as the campus marks the start of a new academic year, with orientation and open houses welcoming students back to Hanover.
In a related highlight, a course titled "Difficult Conversations on the Middle East" and efforts by Jewish studies and Middle Eastern studies faculty to foster dialogue were featured in coverage by The Forward.
Bruce Sacerdote '90, Richard S. Braddock 1963 Professor in Economics, was quoted on the college's approach to admissions. "Dartmouth is hunting for these students, and it turns out that a great way to identify them is to have test scores," Sacerdote said.
The college also shared photos from around campus as fall begins.
