The latest Joint USAF/NOAA Solar Geophysical Activity Report indicates low solar activity over the past 24 hours, with six numbered sunspot regions currently visible. The geomagnetic field experienced quiet to active levels during the same period, reaching a solar wind speed peak of 420 km/s.

Looking ahead, solar activity is expected to remain low for the next three days, from August 4th to August 6th. There is a slight chance, specifically a 20% probability each day, for an M-class solar flare to occur. The probability for an X-class flare remains at 1% daily.

The geomagnetic field is forecast to be at quiet levels for the upcoming three-day period. This follows recent activity where the maximum southward component of Bz reached -10.3 nT. Electron levels at geosynchronous orbit peaked at 342 pfu.
