The Washington Post is reporting that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton won the Republican Senate primary runoff in his state Tuesday night, ousting incumbent Sen. John Cornyn. The Post said Paxton has energized the MAGA base, but noted that few politicians in Texas have accumulated as much scandal.
