The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (CAH) unanimously approved its FY27-30 Strategic Plan during its recent Full Commission meeting. This significant milestone follows an extensive eight-month development process.\n\nThe plan's creation involved broad engagement with Commissioners, CAH staff, arts and humanities professionals, grantees, partners, and community members across the District. This comprehensive process included a needs assessment, visioning sessions, and a formal public comment period, ensuring diverse perspectives shaped its priorities.\n\nExecutive Director Aaron Myers presented the Director’s Report before committee reports and the plan's approval. With the strategic plan now finalized, CAH will proceed with developing an action plan to implement its outlined priorities and strategies for the coming years.
