The National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLSBPD) at the Library of Congress has recognized two cooperating libraries in Georgia and Massachusetts for their outstanding service to readers with visual, physical, or print disabilities.
The Georgia Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled in Atlanta received the 2026 Regional Library of the Year Award. The Worcester Talking Book Library in Worcester, Massachusetts, was honored with the Subregional Library of the Year Award.
Both libraries will be celebrated at a luncheon on July 22 in the historic Thomas Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress.
