The U.S. Department of the Treasury officially launched the full Trump Accounts app on July 6, 2026, providing American families with a new platform to view, manage, and grow their children’s investments in the nation’s economic future. President Trump and Secretary Bessent marked this historic milestone, coinciding with the 250th anniversary of the United States, by participating in the ringing of the NYSE and Nasdaq opening bells.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said, "Trump Accounts are now live, giving every child a stake in the American Dream from day one thanks to President Trump. The Trump Accounts app is now updated with the full suite of account capabilities: you can start funding your child's account, exploring financial education modules, and more." The app now offers full-scope functionality nationwide, allowing secure access, real-time fund viewing, and direct contributions from mobile devices. New dashboards provide clear views of balances, contributions, and investment performance, while features for parents include setting recurring contributions and linking bank accounts.

To complement the account access, Trump Accounts includes 15 interactive financial education modules for parents and children. These modules cover concepts such as saving, investing, compound growth, diversification, and the role of American capital markets. By linking learning directly to a real investment account, the program aims to make financial education concrete and actionable for families.

Trump Accounts are designed to expand stock ownership, which has historically been unevenly distributed, by helping children gain a foothold in the American economy from birth or early childhood. Families can enroll by visiting the program's website to learn about eligibility and features, and download the official app. There is no cost to open an account, and children can receive contributions from employers, charitable organizations, and governments.

Over 50 companies have committed to offering Trump Account contributions for their employees' children, providing a new, low-cost, tax-preferred benefit for businesses. These employer contributions can help small businesses attract and retain workers, fostering long-term wealth for employees' families through modest, regular contributions that compound over time.
