The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has released its latest County Employment and Wages report, highlighting significant economic shifts in specific U.S. counties.

St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, recorded the nation's largest over-the-year increase in average weekly wages, surging by 23.4 percent from the first quarter of 2025 to the first quarter of 2026. Meanwhile, Licking County, Ohio, led the country in employment growth, experiencing a 3.6 percent over-the-year increase in March 2026.
