CBC News is reporting that Donald Trump spoke at Charlie Kirk's funeral in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday. Kirk, a conservative activist and Trump ally, was killed Sept. 10.
CBC News also said Canada now officially recognizes the state of Palestine. According to a statement released Sunday from Prime Minister Mark Carney's office, the recognition is being done with international partners to preserve the prospect of a two-state solution.
Additionally, CBC News is reporting that Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne says Canada should be ready for a generational investment as the federal government prepares its next budget, which is set to be presented in November.
