Governor Kay Ivey announced Monday the execution timeframe for Michael Taylor, to be carried out by lethal injection. The execution is scheduled to begin at 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
The timeframe for the execution will expire on Friday, November 6, 2026. This decision was communicated in a letter from the governor to Alabama Department of Corrections Commissioner Greg Lovelace.
