House to Consider Key Legislation Including Defense Act and Disabled Americans Bill

The House of Representatives is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, June 30, with morning hour commencing at 10:00 a.m. and legislative business at noon. Votes are anticipated to begin around 1:30 p.m. and conclude by 5:15 p.m.

Lawmakers are expected to consider several significant pieces of legislation. This includes H.R. 8800, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2027, sponsored by Rep. Rogers (AL), and H.R. 8595, the National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, 2027.

Also on the agenda is H.R. 8884, the Removing Barriers to Work for Disabled Americans Act, sponsored by Rep. Scott (GA). The House will also address H. Res. 1383, commemorating the one-year anniversary of the Working Families Tax Cuts, and complete consideration of H. Con. Res. 108, directing the President to remove U.S. Armed Forces from hostilities in Lebanon.
