Mayor Karen Bass visited Boyle Heights residents impacted by the Lineage warehouse fire, distributing air purifiers and other essential resources. She went door-to-door to meet directly with those affected.
In partnership with St. John’s Community Health, AltaMed, and Clínica Romero, Mayor Bass announced the opening of multiple community mobile health clinics near Boyle Heights. These clinics offer respiratory health screenings, oxygen level checks, asthma assessments, and mental health support.
No appointments are necessary for these services, which also include blood pressure checks, eye and skin irritation evaluations, and health education on smoke exposure, providing crucial support to the community.
